Exhibition and presentation of the publication L’architecture d’aujourd’hui by Regina Giménez, edited by Enric Farrés Duran for Los Cinco Delfines.
Stemming from the known historical magazine L’architecture d’aujourd’hui, Regina Giménez has developed a working process that analyses advertisement elements and modifies them in a way that completely change their meaning. Through an exercise of abstraction, she reveals the graphic composition and offers other readings of the images linked to new construction materials of the times. The images are accompanied by a text by Rosa Lleó, which presents a series of characters from a novel that smoke, drink and talk – that is, they live – inside this architecture of today, or of yesterday, that announced itself as modern and atemporal.
